Equipment Donations

In regards to equipment donations, we accept metal woods, cavity back irons, all wedges, all putters and golf balls in usable condition. They can be delivered to The First Tee at: 7501 Blue River Rd, Kansas City, Missouri 64132.

We strongly recommend you call prior to coming out as we tend to be in and out of the office frequently. Ellen Fisher, our Operations Analyst is usually in the office more than anyone and it is best to arrange your donation through her. You can email her at efisher@thefirstteekc.org. However, if you are unable to reach us and must drop them off at a certain time you may leave them with the proshop at the address above. If you do this please provide them with your name and address and what you donated so a letter can be sent to you for tax purposes. If dropping things off at our Heart of America location is inconvenient, please let us know and we may be able to arrange an alternative. Once again, thanks for thinking of us.

More than Just a Game

Here's why golf is more than just a game: It's a Character builder.

"The game of golf comes closest to the game of life. You get bad breaks from good shots, you get good breaks from bad shots—but you have to play the ball where it lies." ...Bobby Jones

"As kids learn to play the game, golf's basic rule of playing the course as you find it and the ball as it lies is bound to follow them off the course and into how they lead their daily lives." ...Tom Watson

THE COURSE is yours to enjoy...You're on the first tee...So, Play Away!
