Membership-If you are renewing your membership with The First Tee, or becoming a new member, please enter "Membership" in the Designate gift field. If you are donating on behalf of someone else or some other event, please pick the most applicable choice in the designate drop down box.
Restricted & Unrestricted Donations
People can contribute to our supporting foundation, the Junior Golf Foundation of Greater Kansas City through the following means:
1. Annual Membership - unrestricted donations
A. Yearly renewable memberships
B. Participate in Junior Golf Day at your local club/course
2. Special Events - unrestricted donations
A. Be a sponsor in our annual "A Day for the Kids" golf tournament hosted by Tom Watson
B. Play in “A Day for the Kids”
3. Restricted Donations
A. Scholarship Fund - contribute to this fund to support our Al Hoffman
Scholarship Program. We will raise $1,000,000 to secure 10 - $4,000
annual scholarships for participants from our programs
B. Capital Reserve Fund - This fund also has a $1,000,000 goal.
Proceeds from the fund will be used to support our annual operations.
4. Memorial and Honoraria Gifts - can be designated by donor, otherwise will
be considered unrestricted donations.
