Project Blue River Rescue

We are proud to announce that thirty-five of our participants helped clean up the riverbanks of our very own Heart of America Golf Academy on Saturday, April 6th from 8:00am-12:00pm. This endeavor was in accordance with Lakeside Nature Center and Project Blue River Rescue! Below is a link to a flyer that gives more detailed information about Project Blue River Rescue, but in short it is an annual event to help sustain the cleanliness of our community.

Our participants not only helped out, but made the golf course the cleanest the directors of this event had ever seen it. In doing so, our participants exercised one of The Nine Healthy Habits in the Social category: Community. They generously gave back by rejuvenating the health and cleanliness of our Heart of America community.
