The Registration Process: Your child must be at least 7 years old or in the first grade to register.
This year we have online registration for our Heart of America and Drumm Farm locations! With that, spring and summer registration are separate for these two sites. If you plan on participating in both the spring and summer you will still be eligible to receive the multiple session discount through promotion codes. Ellen Fisher will email out promotion codes to all spring registrants once programming is underway. By entering the correct promotion code during online registration for the summer session, you will be discounted the appropriate amount. This applies to scholarships as well. If you cannot afford our program fees please contact Ellen Fisher at efisher@thefirstteekc.org and she will issue you the appropriate promotion code.
For all other locations the registration process will remain the same; mail or fax it in or complete it in person. In order to guarantee your child has been registered properly, participant permission forms must be filled out entirely, regardless of how long your child has been in our program. We also ask that you fill out separate participant permission forms for siblings. Please see below for forms and registration pertaining to Overland Park, Sunflower Hills, and Ironhorse. All registrations can be mailed, faxed or dropped off in person.
If you are new to The First Tee and your child is between the ages of 7-9 they will be in the PLAYer Level. All new participants usually start at this beginner level, however some exceptions are made if you have a child that is much older in age. Please email Coach S, Director of Programming, if you have any questions about what level your child should be signed up for at sshahib@thefirstteekc.org.
Price: Each site varies in their programming fees, please see below for pricing details. If you cannot afford the program fees, please contact Ellen Fisher at efisher@thefirstteekc.org for scholarships.
Sessions: Each session is anywhere between 6-8 weeks long. Each site is a little different in their scheduling. Classes meet once a week for the 6-8 week duration. Classes usually last for one hour, but some last an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and a half depending on the level.

Heart of America Par 3 Spring League
We kicked off our new Par 3 Spring League April 16th. This league was for all participants interested in brushing up on their playing skills a little early. It was a perfect way to ease back into golf before summer arrived! It was held on Tuesday evenings April 16th through May 21st at Heart of America Golf Academy. Registration began March 11th online. 2013 Tournament Series and Chapter League
The tournament series consists of 4 tournament dates (including The Championship which is not listed to register for) and 6 league dates. Participants in this series of four events and league play earn points to qualify for the season ending Tournament Championship. This year, The Championship will be held on August 1st at Sunflower Hills Golf Club. In order to play in this series and league, players MUST be registered in regular programming at one of our sites.
